PoliWatch is sponsored by the non-profit, non-politically affiliated, political action committee known as Vote Out Incumbents for Democracy, or VOID. The purpose of VOID is to provide a public volunteer organization to raise public awareness of the simple fact that bad government does not come from good politicians. Therefore, it is the politicians that need to be replaced when government is failing its responsibilities and obligations.
The purpose of PoliWatch is to assist voters in becoming more informed about the issues and debate centering around politics and elections. Toward that end, PoliWatch provides the following services:
1) Provide voters assistance and guidance in becoming political bloggers themselves. For this purpose, PoliWatch provides the PW FORUM, where voters may learn the skills of blogging and publish articles of their own, and invite friends and family to view their articles and discuss and comment on them.
2) Political news, issues, and research resources needed for political awareness by informed voters.
3) Civil discussion and debate focused on improving government and political offices, acknowledging the fact that voter behavior at election time is, in part, determined by voter awareness of the issues, the politicians, and the policies in play.
Please direct questions or comments about PoliWatch to the PW Manager, David Remer, at the following email address: editor [at] poliwatch.org.
PoliWatch is managed by VOID volunteers. Writer participants at the PoliWatch site are not necessarily associated with the VOID organization, nor do their views or perspectives reflect the mission and purpose of the Vote Out Incumbents for Democracy organization.
