Re-elect Larry, Moe, and Curly?

Larry, Moe, and Curly were more commonly known as The 3 Stooges in their hilarious 1950's and 1960's black and white movies full of error, stupidity, ignorance, incompetence, and slap stick. Well, they are back and running for re-election under different names today, like Santorum, Stabenow, and Lieberman. But, it is not funny anymore.

The American tax payers shelled out 100's of billions of dollars to politicians and intelligence agency personnel for the express purpose of preventing a 9/11 from happening in America. Most of those politicians and personnel are still in office today, many are running for re-election. It would be hilarious if it were not so tragic that their 3 stooges routines leave our nation and her people nearly as vulnerable to attack today, as we were on September 10, 2001.

These stooges have increased our national debt by 50% in just 6 years, from around 5.5 Trillion to over 8.6 Trillion today. And it doesn't stop there. By the time the next president is sworn into office, our national debt will have nearly doubled in just 8 years. It is currently growing at a rate of 2.26 billion per day. That is PER DAY, folks. And for all that spending, we have little to show for it.

There is no escaping it. These incumbent stooges are digging America's economic grave deeper and deeper by the day. Our children have no choice but to pay higher taxes than we do now, and they will do so on lower wages than we enjoyed most of our work lives in real purchasing dollar terms. That means their earned dollar will buy less in 15 years than ours does today. And on top of that, the interest on the debt and repayment of the debt will take more from their paychecks than is currently taken from ours.

So, who is the real stooge, here? These Larry, Moe, and Curly's who have failed to manage our country any better than bumbling idiots, or we, the voters, who will vote to reelect their stupidity, ignorance, and incompetence back for more, tomorrow?

It is not about party anymore, ladies and gentleman. It is about changing the behavior of those who make the decisions for our nation's and our children's future. Voting for this party or that, is not the answer. Democrats and Republicans alike are responsible for 9/11 happening, for our wide open borders still today, for our national debt, for our falling educational performance, and for the divisiveness which divides us voters for the express purpose of Larry, Moe, and Curly getting re-elected.

Stop it! STOP IT, NOW! Vote for a challenger, and tell these incumbents, and those who replace them, that we the voters will NOT tolerate stooges calling the shots for us anymore. Here is a classic line from the 3 Stooges as best I can recall it: "If I knew better, I would have known better than to have acted the way I did. So, don't blame me for not knowing better." If you listen between the lines, that is precisely what nearly every politician running for re-election in our U.S. Congress is trying to get you and I to accept.

I for one, am not buying it anymore! Will you?
